BUDHANILKANTHA One of the most spectacular devotional sites for both Hindus and Buddhists in the Valley is the Sleeping Vishnu temple, located just a few minutes walk from the Nityananda Institute Nepal center. The temple compound is built around a pond in which lies a 15 foot long stone figure of the Hindu God Vishnu reclining on the coils of a cosmic serpent.
